Installation
- Download the current version of FCP Cleaner.
- Open the DMG file and drag the app into the Applications folder.
First launch
When opening FCP Cleaner for the first time, macOS may show a security dialog because the app was downloaded from the internet. Confirm the dialog to start the app.
FCP Cleaner is designed for macOS and works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Disk access
FCP Cleaner needs access to the folders or drives you want to scan. If a Final Cut Pro library cannot be found or opened, check the macOS permissions under:
System Settings → Privacy & Security
Removing the DMG file
After installation, you can delete the downloaded DMG file. The installed app in your Applications folder will not be affected.
